Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary is a hidden gem tucked away in the Eastern Ghats of Andhra Pradesh. Spanning over an area of 71 sq. km, this sanctuary is located in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, approximately 20 km from the city of Visakhapatnam. Flora and Fauna:

Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary is home to over 70 species of plants, including rare and endemic species. The sanctuary is also home to several endangered and threatened species of animals, including the Indian pangolin, sambar deer, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar, and jackal. The sanctuary is also home to over 100 species of birds, including the Indian eagle, crested serpent eagle, and grey junglefowl.

Activities:

Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary offers a range of activities for visitors, including trekking, camping, birdwatching, and nature walks. The sanctuary has several trekking trails, ranging from easy to difficult, offering visitors the chance to explore the sanctuary's diverse flora and fauna. Visitors can also camp overnight in the sanctuary and experience the thrill of sleeping under the stars. The sanctuary's birdwatching trails offer visitors the opportunity to spot several species of birds and observe their behavior in their natural habitat.
