A Retired Judge never forget about his social responsibility among the society. He was retired from job but he is not retired as himself.
coming to the issue
Plenty of Agricultural lands in East Godavari District , Westgodavari District, Guntur and Krishna District were being converted from Agricultural lands to Fishing and prawn ponds. No one responded to this issue Why ?
Because General public are not aware of consequences to be faced in conversion of Agricultural lands to fishing ponds. The environmental Science clearly states that the Agricultural lands , when converted to fishing tanks cannot be cultivated again for the Agricultural purpose, moreover not only the converted land but also the adjacent lands to such converted land will loss its fertility and the total extent will be dry area which cannot be cultivated in future. in result the environment of the surroundings will spoil within a short span of year and every citizen there in will have zero chances to cultivate such lands and lands adjacent to such tanks.
A retired Judge who is well aware about the consequence, even after his retirement strike the attempts of the illegal conversion made by the localities of above mentioned areas. He wrote a letter to the Honourable High Court Judicature for the state of Andhrapradesh and Telangana about the illegal activities and the Honourable High Court treated it as public interest ligtigation and issued notices to Forest secretary and Fisheries Secretary and also for to the Collectors of East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna and Gunturu Districts to furnish a full fledged report on the issue.
Mr.Dharama rao had worked as Honurable Andhrapradesh High Court Judge and retired as Madras Highcourt Chief Justice and settled in his proper at Krapa , Inavalli Mandal, East Godavri District. Where as after retirement it came into his site about the illegal conversion of Agricultural lands into fishing ponds and prawn ponds which is causing environment polluting, which is causing ecological effect and effecting the livelihood of the daily wage.

అయన ఉద్యోగం నుంచి రిటైర్ అయ్యారు కానీ, ఆయనకున్న సామజిక భాధ్యత నుంచి కాదు. యన పేరు జస్టిస్ ధర్మారావు, మన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ హై కోర్ట్ లో న్యాయమూర్తి గా విధులు కొనసాగించి, అ తరువాత మద్రాస్ చీఫ్ జస్టిస్ గా పదవి విరమణ పొందినారు. అ తరువాత అయన స్వగ్రామము అయిన తూర్పు గోదావరి జిల్లా, ఐనవల్లి మండలం లోని , క్రాప లో ఉంటున్నారు.
రిటైర్డ్ అయిన తరువాత అయన నెల పెన్షన్ తీసుకుంటూ హాయిగా మనవడు మనవరళ్ళతో జీవితం సాగిద్దాం అని అనుకోలేదు. అయిన కళ్ళ ముందల జరిగే అన్యాయం గురించి ప్రతిఘటించారు, విషయాన్ని హై కోర్ట్ వారుకు తీసుకువెళ్ళారు .
పశ్చిమగోదావరి జిల్లా, తూర్పుగోదావరి జిల్లా , కృష్ణ మరియు గుంటూరు జిల్లాలలో సాగు భూములను చేపల మరియు రొయ్యల చెరువుల క్రింద మారుస్తున్నారు, ఇలాగ చెయ్యటం వలన చుట్టు ఉన్న వ్యవసాయ భూములు అన్ని వ్యవసాయానికి పనికిరాని భూములు క్రింద తయారువుతాయి , అలాగే పక్షులు , జంతు జాతులు అంతరించిపోయే ప్రమాదం ఉంది, రోజు వారి కూలీలు చేసుకొని, పుట గడుపుకునే కూలీలు పనులు లేక ఇబ్బంది పడుతున్నారు అనే విషయాల పైన విపులంగా ధర్మారావు గారు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ మరియు తెలంగాణా హై కోర్ట్ వారికీ ఒక లేఖ వ్రాసారు. అ లేఖ ను హై కోర్టు వారు ప్రజవాజ్యం క్రింద స్వీకరించి,అ విషయం పైన తగిన నివేదిక ఇవ్వాలి అని నితిపారుధలశాఖ కార్యదర్శి , మరియు మత్యశాఖ కమిషనర్ కి, పశ్చిమ, తూర్పు, కృష్ణ మరియు గుంటూరు జిల్లలా కలెక్టర్ ల కి నోటీసు లు జారి చేసారు.
